New Post!

So. A lot has happened in the last 14 months, yet sadly I don't have the stamina to report it all. I've never written a post here, so I wanted to do it. Just because. So here's a brief follow-up on the once girls of Lafayette 17: Lindsay got married, Emily just finished a study abroad in China for four months, Kate spontaneously went to Peru for four months, Brittany's going on a mission, Meghan just graduated, and I... have had nothing of interest happen. I've been taking classes for the last year and however long straight and I'm still not done yet. Oh well, at least I'm enjoying myself!

I wonder if anyone still bothers to look at this? I don't even know how these blog things work. Well, there ya go! I hope someone someday enjoys this thoroughly. Peace & Blessins.

Ward Party

We had a ward party Friday night at Jason Wardrop's house. They had an AMAZINGLY fun backyard, complete with pool, tennis court, volleyball court, hot tub, pool house, soccer field, and trampoline!!! And I usually like to document cool places like that- but I felt slightly stalkerish taking pictures of someone's backyard, so you'll just have to use your imagination. We did take pictures jumping on the trampoline though, and that was definitely one of my favorite parts of the night! We played fun games like smack a cracker, and the licorice relay(?) and they had brownies and ice cream, and smores, and all sorts of deliciousness! SO we had a fun!! THen we finished off the night with Enchanted!!! Great end to a great night!!!!!

Waffle Party!!

Brittany wasn't feeling good last night, so she asked me to make her waffles. So we had a (practicall) midnight waffle party!!

I GOT IN!!!!!!!!!

so for everyone that was wondering, i found out today that i got in to my major! i am soooooo excited about this.  it means that i can start my educations classes and don't have to worry about trying to pick out a different major. so yeah, i am so happy that i got in and stuff.  so this next semester will be crazy for me taking the beginning education classes. but it looks like i will be following the family footsteps and going into teaching... yay, and that is all....

Boys...

so word travels fast in family circles... especially with facebook and stuff so i thought that i would fill you all in on a new part of my life.

so there is this guy, adam, and he is pretty much amazing.  well, we have been seeing a lot of each other lately and have gone on some dates.  and yesterday after devotional (we have those weekly here at byu) we were talking about lots of stuff and he was like "i really enjoy spending time with you and you make me really happy, and i sort-of want to make this official. so will you be my girlfriend?" and i of course said yes.  so yeah, that is my story, the end.

Sunday Naps

So Lindsay, Chelsea, and Kate (me) have suffered from sleep deprivation over the last 3 days (or longer) So after our Sunday dinner we thought we'd take a nap together and unite in our exhaustion. We also decided to do it on Emily's bed since her presence was absent. It didn't go over very well. I'm still tired.
